I like to say that I was born when I looked at the sky for the first time. And since there, I passed to look at my planet with new and protective eyes. I have been teaching Astronomy lectures for kids and teens in my country since I am 10 years old, speaking about the importance of looking at the sky in schools, public spaces, and on the Internet. But I had something I did not see in scientists: leadership. In 2018, I was one of the 50 young students selected for the high school research program by CNPq( National Research and Technology Council). I started my research about the behavior of particle physics around black holes. And the opportunity of working with Science made me also see the importance of leaving the research rooms and talking to people more and more. In 2019, I discovered a new passion: drama. I wrote, directed, and produced my first play theater: "A look to the future." I could see Art ad Science together on a stage, watched by more than 1000 people. My play spoke about the importance of building a better world and protecting Earth. With this activity, I won the prize of best play director in the JAC( Yougness, Art and Science Show). In 2020, I felt ready to make another dream come true: my book. And I wrote the first Brazilian Scientific Romance published in the National Library from Brazil: "What we learn when we look at the sky." And now, my literary work was published by 15 book companies in Brazil, Portugal, and United States. I am Maria de Sousa Morais, a young Brazilian girl that looks at the sky to save the Earth.
