Chinonso Nwanevu is 26 years old and a native of Imo State, Nigeria. A graduate of Chemical Engineering from Michael Okpara University of Agriculture, Umudike. He completed a certificate course in Sustainability at Lund University Sweden. Recently, he finishedan remote internship on International development with DataVille Research Institute and works with RecyclePoints Nigeria. Chinonso is a Lead facilitator/Program Coordinator with World Changers Society (WOCAS) since December 2017 an NGO that focuses on giving back to the society through Science, Technology, Engineering and Math. In 2018, He became a member of the International Youth Math Contest (IYMC) and has been advocating for teaching and learning of Math. Chinonso is a Regional Finalist for the Ideas for Action Contest 2018 organized by Wharton School’s Zicklin Center for Business Ethics Research USA. He is an SDG advocate and is a member of many environmental, education and policy driven initiatives in Nigeria. His idea “TechAfrik” emerged as one of the best ideas at the 2018 UNESCO-GAP Program on Education for Sustainable Development. He is passionate about science, technology, engineering and math (STEM) and social impact.
