Hello! My name is Cristina, I am 17 years old, and I have had a deep connection with astronomy ever since I could process what a star was. I was born in Bucharest, Romania, and I remember going to astronomy seminars as a little child and asking all sorts of questions, hoping I could get a better understanding of the world around us. I have always been surrounded by science, as both of my parents are geologists, and I am in a high school dedicated to natural science, but there was always something missing from these profiles. I always felt like they didn’t have enough for me. Because while studying the science of the Earth is wonderful, I wanted more. I wanted the whole universe. And that’s when I started looking more into the “physics” part of astrophysics. A science so beautiful that it fulfills every wish of knowledge I have ever had.
