Hello, My name is Letícia Vieira and I am from the Brazilian Northeast. I have been passionate about Science (especially Astronomy and Astronautics) since childhood. In high school, I had the opportunity to deepen my knowledge by participating in scientific competitions, and through them I could explore a bunch of subjects. Currently, I plan to double major in Astronomy and Engineering at Smith College and my long term goal is work as an aerospace engineer. I have been following the teachings of Carl Sagan, aware that Science needs to be used to improve human lives. Also, I have been fighting to make STEM more inclusive to different realities.
